ABOUT ERIN
Erin Kelly is an interiors and architectural photographer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, working with interior designers, architects, and design-driven brands throughout the Northeast and beyond. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, Domino, Homes & Gardens, The Wall Street Journal, and by brands including Crate & Barrel.
With nearly fifteen years of experience and a background in interior photography, her approach is guided by an editorial sensibility — using natural light, composition, and restraint to create images that feel both precise and atmospheric. Her work is trusted by leading designers, builders, and architects to translate their spaces with clarity, depth, and fidelity.
The resulting photographs are created not only to document finished projects, but to support portfolios, publications, and the long-term visual identity of a design practice.

01 . Pre-Production + planning
Erin works with clients to understand their brand vision, styling needs and project goals. If scouting or progress photos are available, the photography team will review and make a general shot list based on client priorities and natural light conditions. If necessary and lead time allows, a scouting visit to the site location may be arranged between the photography, styling teams, and client.

02. PHOTOSHOOT DAY
On set, the styling team may have a pre-production day before the shoot to style the space and source any last minute perishable items for the shoot day.
If styling and photography are done on the same day, the styling team may arrive before the photography team to unload and start to disassemble spaces. Careful reference images are taken upon arrival of each space so our teams make sure the spaces are left exactly the way they are found.
While shooting, the styling and photography teams work closely to compose the image. Erin always tethers her SLR to a monitor so the styling team and client can review images on a live feed and make any necessary changes.
Once the styling and compositional elements of the photograph are dialed in, Erin and her team will work to adjust lighting elements to capture the perfect light.

03. POST PRODUCTION
After your shoot, Erin will review the final selections of images and begin retouching.
This may include seamlessly merging several images into one final image, retouching any requested design elements (imperfections on surfaces, outlets, color matching cabinetry colors, etc.) This process normally takes ~10-14 days to complete depending on the post production complexities and final image count.
Once your photos are complete, you will be sent a custom shareable gallery as well as a Dropbox link to the high resolution and web sized JPEG images as well as your final invoice.
